Stop Drop Action – Community Youth Initiative

Stop Drop Action is a Creative Spring community program designed to create safe, positive spaces for young people within local shopping centres such as Westfield locations, with Penrith Westfield being the first to support and trial the initiative.

With fewer youth drop-in centres available today, many young people naturally gather at shopping centres after school. Stop Drop Action provides a safe and supportive alternative — a place where young people can connect, play, and engage in positive activities under mentor supervision.

Running as a flexible drop-in style program, sessions include informal activities such as handball challenges, social connection, and opportunities for young people to build confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills that can support future employment pathways and character references.

Our goal is simple: to meet young people where they already are, create safe spaces for connection, and spark positive change within the community. At the end of each session, we aim to leave a lasting impact by encouraging ongoing healthy play and positive engagement — creating small ripples of change that grow beyond the program itself.

We work collaboratively with families and care teams and provide clear, professional reporting.

We currently have service capacity available.
