The Seed of Hope™

Is a bold story and colouring book that brings young people into a character-driven world of emotions, creativity, and self-discovery. Inspired by iconic anime universes, each character represents a real feeling—giving young people a safe, creative way to understand emotions, express themselves, and even design their own hero.

Why it works

  • Relatable characters built around real emotions

  • Modern, anime-inspired storytelling

  • Colouring and creativity as self-expression

Testimonial banner of kids doing activities under the guidance of a mentor

We recently had our first experience with Creative Spring at their Kids community event. To say I was grateful and impressed is an understatement. From the moment we arrived all volunteers brought positive vibes and good energy. They were kind and helpful. The day was well organised and adjusted to the weather conditions seamlessly. They provided a sausage sizzle and plenty of water for the kids, had a few food trucks as well. There were lots of activities for the kids, which created so much fun and laughter throughout the day. They had prizes and a Chrissy gift at the end for each child that attended the day. My boys had the best day! These guys go above and beyond for their community working together with other community organisations to provide the best kids community day. Thank you Creative Spring and all involved.

Keep up the great work!

I was introduced to Creative Spring through the EDG program, which supports mentoring for young people, and from the very beginning I could see how different and impactful their approach is. Through my involvement with Creative Spring, I’ve been part of community events and have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the growth, transitions, and emotional improvements of the young people involved. The change in confidence, connection, and wellbeing over time is genuine and meaningful.

What really sets Creative Spring apart is their holistic approach. They don’t just work with young people in isolation — they actively involve community, family members, parents, and carers, recognising that real and lasting change happens when everyone is supported and connected. Creative Spring creates safe, inclusive spaces where young people feel seen, heard, and valued. Their work strengthens not only individuals, but families and communities as a whole, and I’ve seen the positive impact this has had again and again.

I highly recommend Creative Spring to any organisation or community looking to support young people in a way that is respectful, empowering, and truly transformative.

Couldn’t say a bad word about Creative Spring, I’ll start off by saying “easily best community event in Sydney by far”  What Greggy and his wife have built is a reflection of their love and passion for young people, community and people in general, it’s a event full of love, connection and enjoyment
